This Monday, during the press conference of the national leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the general secretary of that red awning, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that “we didn't ask Chevron to come back, Chevron asked to return to Venezuela.”

Cabello stressed that the North American company carried out its procedure in the United States (USA), so that the authorities would allow it to come to Venezuela, so “we were not the ones who asked them to return.”

“The US government decided to send a special envoy Richard Grenell and we have our special envoy for the US who is Jorge Rodríguez Gómez,” he said and stressed that there is an immediate dialogue, from government to government.

In this regard, he asserted that presidents Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro have always asked for respect, without acting in an interventionist manner with other nations and hope that the response will be the same.
