This Monday, August 4th, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that the Bolivarian Government will continue to speak out for the injustice committed by the United States against Venezuelan migrants.

“If Venezuela is the only one that is going to have to complain to its children in the face of the injustices and abuses committed by the United States, we are going to do it; if some other presidents want to be quiet, let them stay silent,” he said during the PSUV press conference.

He reaffirmed that President Nicolás Maduro has always been committed to the issue of migration, to extend his hand to our compatriots. “It's nothing new, more than a million Venezuelans have returned since 2018,” he said.

He noted that the campaign against Venezuelan migrants linked to criminal groups is over. It's a big lie, that's why other things are invented because the subject of the Aragua Train fell to them and evidence remains,” he said, noting that of those who returned from El Salvador, only 20 had a history, of which seven of them were for serious crimes and none linked to the Aragua Train.

He also reaffirmed that, unlike other countries, Venezuela has always kept its doors open to migrants. At the same time, he said that the Donald Trump Administration today has high levels of rejection both because of the migratory and economic issues.

On the other hand, he emphasized that Venezuela does combat those criminal groups that did so much harm to the people.
