The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that whoever gets one vote or who gets 20 has equal weight in the running process for future elected offices.

At a press conference, Cabello explained the need to record each of the lists that result from the application process, which must be “made up of all the names of the postulates and postulates (...) No application count or name resistance (...) The one that drew only once, they controlled it only once, has the same weight as the one they proposed 20”.

In addition, regarding the connectivity necessary for uploading data to the platform, he noted that “the creation of situation rooms for this process has not been authorized anywhere, however, there are parishes that must have a space with good connectivity so that Community Heads can move and upload data.”

Finally, he added that it is “forbidden to campaign and propaganda in any way, to promote names or promote oneself, to pressure middle or grass-roots structures as well as to use government structures or institutions in the application process.”

“Forget the groups, here the group that has to exist is the Chávez group, the Nicolás group, the Revolution group, the People's group; there is no kind of line and no one should be pressuring any structure to put a name or not to appear.”
