CAF Marathon Organizing Committee highlighted citizen and government support during the event

The president of the Organizing Committee of the CAF Marathon, Marisol Barrera, highlighted this Sunday the support of citizens and authorities during the development of the event, held in Caracas.

Speaking to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Barrera said that the spaces that hosted the Marathon also had shelves to continue boosting the country's business sector.

In addition, he highlighted that the sporting activity also had space for culture, with the participation of the Simón Bolívar National Orchestra System, which offered a repertoire of musical pieces for the enjoyment of the audience.

The Panamanian Jorge Enrique Castelblanco and the Ecuadorian Silvia Ortiz were the winners of the tenth edition of the marathon organized by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF), which this time maintained the essence of the so-called Green Marathon, combining sport, sustainability and city, testing the endurance of elite and amateur athletes.
