Candidate Joana Sánchez highlighted her contact with the People of Aragua in her first week of the campaign

Sánchez committed himself to consolidating a participatory and supportive government, focused on resolving the urgencies of the population

The candidate of the revolutionary forces for the governor of the state of Aragua, Joana Sánchez, presented this Tuesday, May 6, an assessment of her first week of the campaign, highlighting meetings with more than 200,000 citizens in various municipalities, as well as meetings with sports representatives, entrepreneurs and religious leaders.

Sánchez emphasized the importance of direct contact with people and participation in community initiatives as pillars of the Aragueñity Plan.

“It has been an extraordinary week of meetings with our people, with our people, with the different sectors of the entity, in order to discuss the 7T, and thus receive proposals, suggestions,” he said in a note published on the website of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

He pointed out that “there we were observing and monitoring what the new method of governance is at this historic moment and we are talking precisely about the projects of the People”.

Among the priority issues in his proposal, he mentioned local economic reactivation, the strengthening of entrepreneurship programs and attention to critical infrastructures, especially within the framework of the Pre-Rain Plan, to prevent damage during the rainy season.

The candidate pledged to consolidate a participatory and supportive government, focused on resolving the urgencies of the population, while announcing new campaign activities in the coming days, including citizen meetings and sectoral proposals.

Sánchez called on the population to participate in the electoral simulation that will take place next Saturday, May 10, in order to prepare the machinery for the elections on May 25, “we are going to demonstrate, in the simulation, the great organization of our party, which, without a doubt, has the machinery very finely tuned for everything that corresponds to a great election day,” he said.

For his part, the candidate for the National Assembly (AN) for the state of Aragua, Orlando Camacho, praised the efforts being made by the Bolivarian Government for Venezuelan migrant families.

In that regard, he highlighted candidate Sánchez's commitment to revitalizing the state's economy, by promoting entrepreneurship and committing to improving conditions for the population to stay and work in the country.

He also said that, when he arrived at the AN, as a representative of the People, he will be waiting, together with the other Bolivarian deputies, for the cohesion of the People, so that the rule of law is respected, as well as the fundamental rights of Venezuelans.

The liaison of the national management of the PSUV in Aragua, Rander Peña, stressed the importance of the people of Aragüeño supporting Sánchez's candidacy, “because she is the candidate of Aragüeño, she is the candidate of all Aragüeños and all Aragüeñas, who has called us to create the formula to create a beautiful state, in which we feel at ease, to always be at home,” he said.
