The candidates for deputies to the National Assembly for the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB) presented this Tuesday to the People and the president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, the proposal of the Legislative Plan, ahead of the elections on May 25.

“We are not bringing power closer to the people, but handing power over to the people, and President Nicolás Maduro has given sufficient evidence in recent years of his willingness to end the State that we inherited from the Fourth Republic, to liquidate it completely and for a new state to emerge from the People, from the communities, with the most beautiful capacities, with the most absolute creative capacity,” said the candidate ready for Caracas, Jorge Arreaza.

He stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution has a “team of women, of men willing to give their lives for the good of the Republic, for the good of the Revolution and for the power of our people.”

For her part, the young candidate for Aragua, Aurora Paredes, exalted the role of women in politics. “It is only in the Bolivarian Revolution that women constitutionally today have participation and visibility,” she said.

“Today Venezuelan women, patriotic women, Chavista women know that we have a main ally that is also a woman, which is the Bolivarian Revolution,” she added.

Finally, the candidate Nicolás Ernesto Maduro Guerra, stressed that this electoral campaign “has led us to meet again and it's not that we are not found, we have always been connected to the people, we have always had the streets, we have always been face to face with our people, but this campaign has been one of reconnection, of embracing”.

In this regard, he recognized “the role of this National Assembly that ends on January 4, 2026 in stabilizing the country, in guaranteeing peace, in stabilizing the economy, in stabilizing the social debate, still knowing that there are many challenges to overcome, but the role of this National Assembly was fulfilled satisfactorily in these 4 years”.
