CANTV advances towards fiber optic connectivity in Nueva Esparta

CANTV users located in El Valle del Espíritu Santo, García municipality in the state of Nueva Esparta, will be able to progressively access the Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP Telephony services with the installation of fiber optics.

According to information issued by CANTV, the technical tasks carried out so far include the laying of eight kilometers of optical fiber for the formation of the Optical Distribution Network; to progressively install optical terminal boxes (FAT) and internal connections in homes.

“The project is developed by CANTV together with the Charaguaray Commune. In this regard, Azucena Daniel, representative of the MTT in El Valle del Espíritu Santo, highlighted the articulation between Business and Popular Power to advance the modernization of community connectivity,” the company said.
