During the month of April 2026, CANTV restored fixed telephone and Internet services to more than 1,000 subscribers in the state of Mérida, through technical deployments carried out in different municipalities of the entity.

The care was developed in conjunction with the Popular Power of the Páramo, Pan-American, Mocotí Valley and Metropolitan axes, as part of the Comprehensive Failure Resolution Plan and the requests channeled through the VenApp of the 1x10 Good Governance system.

The tasks carried out by the technical crews included preventive and corrective maintenance of telecommunications networks, replacement of cables and sleeves, as well as the reconstruction of junctions to restore connectivity in the communities served, according to a CANTV press release.

Junior Graterol, resident of the La Parroquia sector, Libertador municipality, thanked the attention received after the return of services. “Thanks to the work done, I now enjoy fixed telephony and Internet again,” he said.

CANTV maintains technical deployments across the country to ensure the continuity of telecommunications services in homes, businesses and public and private institutions.
