CANTV restored telecommunications services to more than 19,000 subscribers in the capital region

More than 19,600 residential and commercial subscribers in the Capital region recovered CANTV services, after work carried out by the company's technical staff, within the framework of the Comprehensive Failure Resolution Plan and care through the 1x10 Good Governance system.
In Caracas, the actions of the working class of CANTV returned fixed telephone and Internet connections to more than 7,300 users. In Miranda, more than 11,200 were treated and La Guaira registered more than 1,100 successful services.
The incidents solved were caused by factors such as deterioration, acts of theft and vandalism, damage caused by third parties and adverse weather conditions.
Within this framework, the tasks carried out covered a wide range of actions, including preventive and corrective maintenance of networks and transmission equipment, the replacement of cables, strips, sleeves and connectors, the reconstruction of junctions and the exhaustive verification of telephone lines.
