The Government of Carabobo and the Mayor's Office of the Diego Ibarra municipality activated the Comprehensive Public Lighting plan in the town, the newspaper Últimas Noticias reported.

In this regard, it became known that the mayor, Lesbia Castillo, reported that government action will favor more than 11,000 families from 25 communities in the municipality; and she noted that this plan contemplates the replacement of bulbs with 150W and 200W high-power LED luminaires.

In addition, the electrical system will be comprehensively rehabilitated in the main streets with the replacement of drainage pipes, power cutters (tobacco) and high-resistance wiring, in addition to the revision and adaptation of control boxes and transformers.

“We are working hand in hand with our people to bring light back to every corner of Diego Ibarra. It's not just putting up a lamp; it's regaining our families' peace of mind as they walk through its streets at night,” he said.
