Carabobo has 229 immunization booths for Vaccination Week in the Americas 2026

During Vaccination Week in the Americas (SVA), 229 immunization stations were set up in Carabobo state with the objective of strengthening the health of inhabitants of different ages against preventable diseases.

According to a note, the state's 47 Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC) will have Pentavalent, Polio, Yellow Fever, Toxoid and SRP vaccines, in order to achieve extensive coverage and protect families.

Alexander Leal, the sole health authority of Carabobo, highlighted the importance of this deployment that is taking place in the different countries of Latin America. “Every year this campaign is launched to protect our boys and girls, this is promoted by our president in charge Delcy Rodríguez; and the Minister of Health, Carlos Alvarado.”

Vaccination Week in the Americas is promoted by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), and the Ministry of People's Power for Health, in its ongoing effort to combat diseases, maintains immunization deployments in order to strengthen the health of Venezuelans. This campaign began on April 26 and will end on May 3; and it will have different vaccination posts nationwide.
