Three solid waste processing plants will be installed in the municipalities of Guacara, Juan José Mora and Bejuma in the state of Carabobo, as part of the entity's waste control, administration and management plans.
The president of DESOCA (entity responsible for this matter in the entity), José Parada, reported that the project is part of the Sustainable Carabobo Program, led by the governor of the entity, Rafael Lacava and the first combatant, Nancy de Lacava.
Through his social networks, he noted that the initiative that will soon be implemented demonstrates progress in the management of solid waste throughout the chain, from its origin, through final disposal, to the due use of all the potential of raw materials and finished products.
He stressed that Governor Lacava's administration received landfills where laziness reigned, which were progressively recovered by implementing leachate control and environmental sanitation.
“We have recovered terraces, rainwater, drainage and leachate systems in the Guacara, Morón and Bejuma landfills,” he said.
Parada commented that the government of Carabobo has 14 machines distributed in the state's landfills, leveling its terraces.
