Caracas: 332 popular medical offices have been rehabilitated by BRICOMILES

A total of 332 popular medical offices have been rehabilitated by the Military Community Brigades (BRICOMILES) in Caracas, according to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Úlmas Noticias.

In this regard, the single health authority for the Capital District, Morella Camacho, specified that the figure corresponds to almost half of the centers that exist in the city.

“Recently, President Nicolás Maduro inaugurated the El Junquito CDI and with it, there are 40 fully operational centers for the use of communities,” he said.

“With BRICOMILES labor , 44 Integral Rehabilitation Rooms (SRI) have also been restored, as well as prioritized areas of hospitals in Caracas. “We have 24 hospitals in the city, of which our Minister of Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, has prioritized care for pediatric emergency rooms, which have been remodeled and equipped with high-tech supplies and equipment,” the newspaper reported.

Some of the restored rooms are: the J.M. de los Ríos Hospital, located in San Bernardino, and the Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi Hospital, in El Algodonal, Antímano.
