CARACAS - LA VEGA/Candidato Maduro: The family is the vital nucleus of building a new society

This Tuesday, July 16, the country's candidate , Nicolás Maduro, said that the Bolivarian Revolution stimulates and strengthens family values and stressed that “we in Venezuela have to defend the family as the vital nucleus of the construction of a new society.”

“The culture of Western decadence has destroyed family values. I believe in the family and before the People of Christ I declared myself: the main protector of the Venezuelan family,” he said.

This was stated in the parish of La Vega, in the Libertador municipality, in Caracas, where the people gathered to express their full support for his candidacy for re-election to the Presidency of the Republic.

As for the management of the Bolivarian Government, he said that it does not stop because they are not promises, “right now, right now, we are building 400,000 new homes to be delivered between 2024 and 2025".

“I want to build them together with the Community Councils, together with the foundations of the People, together with the communal circuits,” he said.
