The mayor's office of Caracas is making progress in the comprehensive intervention of 2 kilometers of road on Baralt Avenue, in the center of the capital.
According to information issued by the mayor's office, “it is making sustained progress through optimization efforts that seek to transform this historic road artery for the benefit of its inhabitants.”
The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that the works are being carried out with the support of the Ministry of Public Works, whose brigades carry out the recovery of murals, the demarcation of the road and the installation of “cat's eyes” to strengthen the safety of those who travel through the area.
In addition, eight new and modern public transport stops are being built, “which will provide greater convenience to users who travel through this sector on a daily basis”.
In addition, the intervention plan has included a reinforcement in the collection of solid waste and permanent cleaning operations in all its sections to ensure the ornamentation of the road.
