CARACAS//President Maduro announced the launch of the Digital Bank for Workers

This Wednesday, President Nicolás Maduro held an assembly with the working class. During the event, he announced the launch of the Digital Bank for Workers, which will replace the Bicentennial Bank.

As part of the creation of the bank, the Head of State announced that “we are going to create a special financing plan, for things that the family needs directly (...) Also funding for ventures.”

He also stressed that within the framework of the Workers' Digital Bank, “we are going to create an absolutely flexible line of financing and credit that will be called Credinómina for Workers.”

The president stressed that the advances come after, with the economic war and sanctions, Venezuela lost 99% of its revenues and “now, as the economy grows in a sustainable way, we are collecting taxes better and we have managed to raise taxes in the first quarter.”
