CARACAS//President Maduro: It is the working class that has guaranteed resistance and peace

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, praised the country's working class this Wednesday for its resistance and courage to face the imperial economic blockade.

“It is the working class that has guaranteed resistance, peace; it is the one that has guaranteed that our Homeland will overcome all the tests we have overcome,” said the Head of State from the Simón Bolívar Monumental Stadium, in Caracas, during an Assembly with the Working Class that ratified his support.

As the first workers' president in the history of Venezuela, Maduro thanked the working class “for all the support, for all the love, for all the strength they have given me and that they give me. Without you, it would have been impossible to resist criminal sanctions.”
