Caravana de las Soluciones has provided care in 243 communes of Caracas

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that a total of 243 communes and communal circuits out of the 299 constituted in Caracas have been served by the Solutions Caravan, which represents an 81.27% approach in the capital city.

Through his Instagram account, he highlighted the launch of the 92nd day of this program, carried out in the Lomas de Urdaneta sector in the Sucre parish, where care was provided to three communes in the area such as Colinas de Urdaneta, Bolívar, Urdaneta and Chávez and Lomas de Urdaneta 1, benefiting 19,550 inhabitants organized in 7,806 families.

In addition, he specified that during the day, free medical assistance was offered, technical assistance was provided, as well as general maintenance at the point and circle of the area, thus favoring vulnerable sectors.

Meléndez highlighted the reach of these caravans, detailing that to date 2,007 communal councils have been incorporated out of the 2,447 that are formed in the city, which translates into 82.02% effective territorial deployment.

At the same time, he celebrated the massive impact of different social policies and programs on the capital. “Already next June we will be celebrating one year since Operation Caracas Smile, and to date we celebrate the attention to 1,842,053 inhabitants,” he said.
