Carlos Prosperi denounces corruption of opposition extremism and announces support for Nicolás Maduro

This Saturday, in statements to the press, the opposition leader Carlos Prosperi announced his support for the presidential candidacy of Nicolás Maduro Moros, while denouncing the inconcealable corruption that exists at the top of the leadership of opposition extremism.

“The only one who can keep the peace in our country, the only one who guarantees economic growth and dialogue with all parties is President Maduro,” Prosperi said.

He also added that “that is why I have taken the firm decision categorically to give my support to President Nicolás Maduro for the presidential re-election of the Republic.”

During the meeting with the media, the former deputy also presented evidence of wrongdoing committed by the opposition, so he asked the Venezuelan authorities to open an investigation into the embezzlement and irregular enrichment of sectors of the right.
