The former candidate for the opposition primaries, Carlos Prosperi, applauded the initiative for dialogue between the Government and the opposition led by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro and condemned the reaction of the right after announcing his support for the national president.

He also pointed out that for each complaint of the irregularities that occurred around the opposition primaries made by him, he only received ill-treatment from his political colleagues, “if one who was inside has been the victim of outrage, shooting, vilification on social networks, what is left for other people?”

In that sense, he urged Venezuelans to reflect on what the right wing intends to return to the country, “which is to try to set fire to it. Wherever there is peace we will be; we are convinced that the country will continue to be in good hands (those of Nicolás Maduro)”.

Prosperi recognized the economic recovery that our country has had and added that whoever denies it “definitely does not live in Venezuela (...) because even the International Monetary Fund has stated that Venezuela has an economic recovery and that is due to the measures that have been taken.”

“I believe in the left and the left is called to protect the unprotected and we are committed to vindicating people.”
