Carmen Meléndez: The people have the truth about Venezuela

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, assured that “the truth of Venezuela is held by the People and united with the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB), it consolidated the victory of 13A.”

This was stated this Saturday during the march held in the country's capital to celebrate the rescue of Commander Hugo Chávez after the coup d'etat on April 11, 2002. “Today is a special day, a day when the people came down to look for Chávez and defeat fascism,” he said.

“The People are the great winner of this era and of all the ones we have experienced (...) A people that decide what Venezuela is like and that is precisely what democracy is all about. We are forbidden to forget and we must continue to make progress in the construction of our Homeland, complying with the instruction of Commander Chávez, who indicates that with President Maduro we will continue to win”,
