Carnival activities are deployed in 195 Community Circuits in Caracas

The president of the Caracas Tourism Corporation, Cecilia Requena, announced that during the 2025 Carnival, various recreational activities have been deployed in the 195 Community Circuits of Caracas, with the aim of bringing joy to all families in the capital, from the city center to each commune.

In this regard, he specified that since February 26, activities such as perinola games, spinning tops, metras, face painting, inflatable beds, drums and dances such as samba have been organized.

Requena highlighted that floats have been deployed to the state of La Guaira, last Sunday; and that this Monday and Tuesday on Paseo de Los Próceres, the parade of troupes and floats will take place.

In addition, he indicated that at the Retumba Caracas event, there will be presentations by national and international artists. In turn, he stressed that security agencies are deployed throughout the capital to ensure security in all sectors during carnival days.

He stressed that this event is a festival of culture, with tourist routes and heritage sites. “Both national and international participation has increased in these festivities in the city of Caracas, we have received many tourists from different parts of the country, reflecting the success of the scheduled activities,” he said.
