The National Center for Photography (CENAF) opened the registration process for the Caracas 2026 Regional Photography Workshops and Conversations, which will begin on March 9 in person at its headquarters located in the Torre Centro Financiero Latino, on Urdaneta Avenue.

The program is aimed at students, professionals and the general public interested in expanding knowledge in areas such as photojournalism, digital publishing, mobile photography and visual marketing. The objective is to strengthen the formation and dissemination of visual culture in the country.

The training cycle will begin with the discussion “Women's Empowerment in Photojournalism”, facilitated by Rosalía Barreto. Subsequently, several workshops will be held on photojournalism, photography with mobile devices, graphic reporting, basic black and white photography, editing with Snapseed and photographic visual discourse.

The activities will take place throughout the month of March with the participation of specialized facilitators such as Hely Saúl González, Leiser Alfonzo, Fanexys Tezara, Aldo Di Bari and Luis Vallenilla.

In addition, on March 20, an Express Box Office Day will be held, aimed at creators interested in registering and protecting their works in areas such as literature, painting, dance, cinema, photography and broadcasting.

Interested parties must complete the registration form and verify their data before sending it to formalize their participation. If you are unable to attend, it is recommended to notify them to assign the space to another participant.

Certificates of participation will be awarded during the course of the month, as part of the training actions promoted by CENAF to promote photography as a cultural and visual memory tool.
