This Sunday, the Foreign Ministry of the People's Republic of China officially confirmed that the president of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, will pay a state visit to the Asian giant between May 13 and 15.

The announcement states that the meeting will take place after a formal invitation extended by Chinese President, Xi Jinping, with the purpose of addressing issues of common interest to both powers.

The US delegation will carry out a three-day strategic agenda that seeks to deepen communication channels and review current agreements between the two nations. According to a statement released by Telesur from the diplomatic body, this visit represents a key step in the dynamics of foreign relations, prioritizing direct dialogue between heads of state in the current international context.

The Government of the Asian giant indicated that the corresponding protocols have been arranged to receive the North American president on what is shaping up to be a decisive day for regional and economic stability.

With this meeting, it is expected to make progress in resolving critical points and exploring new areas of cooperation that benefit the balance of global markets and international political security.
