China applauds victory of the People and President Maduro in Sunday's elections

This Monday, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Lin Jian, congratulated the People and President Nicolás Maduro for the victory in Sunday's elections and confirmed the willingness to continue developing bilateral relations.

“China congratulates Venezuela on its successful presidential election and President Maduro on his successful re-election. China attaches great importance to the development of relations with Venezuela and is willing, together with the Venezuelan side, to constantly enrich the content of the strategic partnership,” the spokesman said.

Bilateral ties between China and Venezuela have achieved a happy development in multiple areas, thanks to the joint efforts of governments and personalities from various social sectors of the two nations
