China at the UN assures that the US attack on Iran undermines the body's credibility

China's diplomatic delegation to the United Nations (UN) condemned the actions of the United States after the attack on the nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, pointing out that this fact has undermined the credibility of the North American nation.

The Asian country warned that because of these actions, the United States has weakened negotiations and exacerbated tensions across the region.

Along these lines, he indicated that Iran has repeated on multiple occasions that it does not intend to develop a nuclear weapon and that it continues to carry out its diplomatic work.

In this regard, China highlighted three important aspects on which the international community should focus:

- The International Criminal Court (ICC) must redouble its efforts to address the situation, in favor of dialogue and negotiation.

- The political solution is the only viable way forward.

- The Islamic Republic of Iran must continue to fulfill its commitments, refrain from developing nuclear weapons and reflect the peaceful nature of its nuclear program.
