This Monday, the People's Republic of China considered that the comprehensive development of friendly relations with North Korea is its unwavering priority in a context of global instability.

The favorable statement was made by the president of the Asian giant, Xi Jinping, as a gesture of congratulations to the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, for his re-election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Xi Jinping indicated that, in a context of accelerated historical transformations and a complex international situation, Beijing is willing to intensify cooperation with Pyongyang.

Likewise, TASS, on its Telegram channel, highlighted that the Chinese president stated that the joint application of the agreements reached will make it possible to write a new chapter in the history of bilateral association.

Xi also congratulated his North Korean counterpart on the success of the Ninth Party Congress and expressed confidence that, under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the North Korean people will open up new prospects for state development.
