China rejects dispossession of CITGO company from Venezuela by the US

China opposes the illegal unilateral sanctions of the United States against Venezuela and demands that it cease to interfere in the internal affairs of this nation.

The spokesman for the Asian government, Lin Jian, made these statements in reference to the decision of the U.S. authorities to strip Venezuela of the company Citgo Petroleum Corporation.

The Chinese government official noted that “the forced sale constitutes a new episode of the multifaceted aggression being carried out by the institutions of the United States against Venezuela.

Jian offered these statements this Tuesday at the regular press conference at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China.
