China's special envoy reaffirms strategic ties with Venezuela

The special envoy of the People's Republic of China, Qiu Xiaoqi, in his meeting with the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, emphasized the strength of the bilateral relationship and the will of both nations to maintain ties of brotherhood and cooperation between Caracas and Beijing.

The presence of this delegation underlines the importance that China attaches to its relationship with the South American nation, not only as a commercial-energy partner, but as a fundamental political ally in the region.
