CICPC arrested two men for marketing and distributing military equipment

Members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) were able to arrest two individuals for their involvement in the commercialization and distribution of war material to hamponil organizations operating between the states of Aragua and Carabobo.

According to information issued by the director general of this police force, Douglas Rico, the arrest occurred after “extensive research and intelligence work carried out by officials of the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Las Acacias and Maracay Municipal Delegations.”

Rico noted that the detainees were identified as Gregorio Antonio Parra Vivas and José Alejandro Díaz Ruiz, they were arrested in the La Candelaria sector, Caña de Azúcar parish, Aragua state.
