CICPC clarified the murder of a man that occurred in San Agustín del Sur

Members of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC) were able to clarify the murder of Froilán Antonio Luquez Campos, which occurred in San Agustín del Sur, La Charneca sector, Libertador municipality.

According to the information issued by the director general of this body, commissioner Douglas Rico, the research work carried out determined that Froilán was in his home, when Maikel Alexander Ascanio Galindo (36), entered and “an armed structure made of cabillas was being carried away, giving rise to an argument between them, the perpetrator choosing to draw a firearm and shoot him, leaving him without vital signs in the place, and then fleeing with the deceased's cell phone”.

In this regard, he indicated that “after the location of the perpetrator on 16th Street and 18th Street in Los Jardines del Valle, El Valle parish, Libertador municipality, Caracas and, upon request for information about the murder weapon, it was determined that he had exchanged it for psychotropic substances to an antisocial person in the area, who is being actively sought by the authorities.”
