Members of the Investigations, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) were able to clarify the murder of José Gregorio Piña, “found in a state of decay and buried in the Barinas-Barinitas Intercommunal Avenue, Palma Sola sector, Romulo Betancourt parish, Barinas Municipality, Barinas State”.

In this regard, the director of this police force, Douglas Rico, pointed out that it was possible to determine the authorship of Dianni Gabriela Mendoza Urbina (24) and Julio Cesar Rodríguez (50), who “allegedly the deceased had touched the private parts of Dianni's daughter, a 2-year-old girl, they avoided reporting to the competent authorities and planned to blind his life, so they invited the victim to consume alcoholic beverages and once under the influence of alcohol, Julio applied a key to his neck while immobilizing They were his upper and lower extremities with a rope segment, with the help of Dianni, to then take him inside the house causing his death, by strangulation”.

Rico added that after the execution of the murder, “they dragged the body to an area of the farm, digging a grave using a shovel, where they buried the body.”

The procedure was placed under the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office, as were the perpetrators of this act.
