CICPC detains six officials for drug trafficking

The director general of the Investigations, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps, Douglas Rico, announced the capture of a group of officials dedicated to international drug trafficking.

Rico explained that after research and intelligence work, carried out for more than three months, the following were arrested: chief inspector, Honeide Dugarte Dugarte; inspector José Daniel Moncada Zambrano; chief detective Yefferson Orlando Sierra Varela and a civilian, Javier Calaza Ramírez Delgado, “who were bringing 170 high-purity pots of cocaine crossing the road from Colombia to Venezuela.”

He also specified that after the investigations they resulted in the capture of General Commissioner Luis Orlando Revilla; the chief detective, José Gregorio Rodríguez Casto; Detective Daneyber Orlando Guerrero Mora; Jefeerson José Ramírez Rivas; Yordi Pastor Valera Guerra; José Miguel Eduardo Peña; José Gregorio Rincón; and José Gregorio Labrado, nicknamed Goyo, who has dual nationality and police records,” he said.
