CICPC seized more than 440 kilos of marijuana in Táchira

Members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), stationed in the state of Táchira, managed to seize 400 kilos of marijuana.

According to information published on the Telegram channel, “it was possible to dismantle a significant shipment of narcotic substances that was intended to be distributed under an agricultural trade façade”.

Specifically , a total of 817 rectangular wrappers weighing 440.78 hidden among vegetables were seized.

It was also known that the procedure was carried out by officials of the San Cristóbal Municipal Delegation and took place in a warehouse located in the El Camino Viejo sector, El Surural, in the municipality of Jáuregui.
The officers, after intensive field research and technical-scientific analysis, the police officers entered the building that appeared to be a collection center for products from the field, “the researchers found under an agricultural load, sacks of natural fiber with Café Brasil labels, which served as final packaging for the drug.”
