Cilia Flores: The new National Assembly will maintain firm loyalty and fidelity to the People

The candidate for deputy and first lady of the Republic, Cilia Flores de Maduro, stressed this Tuesday that after the victory of the revolutionary forces in the elections of next May 25, the Parliament will maintain its loyalty and fidelity to the People.

During the presentation of the proposal for the Legislative Plan of the candidates for deputies of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon (Bolivar GPPSB), Flores recalled the importance of the Legislative Branch as a center for debate and discussion since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution.

“When the Revolution came to the National Assembly, the first thing it did was open the doors to the people. Literally the doors opened and the People entered the Federal Legislative Palace,” he said.

In this regard, he stressed that the revolutionary process “what it has always done is to protect the People and in this new assembly that is coming for this new period it will continue to protect the People. The people can be sure that if something is going to stand firm in the National Assembly, which is going to be repowered, it is loyalty to the People, fidelity to the People and working with them. With the people everything, without the people, nothing!” , he emphasized.
