Cilia Flores: Venezuelan women have faced adversities together as a result of the blockade

The chief coordinator of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission and first combatant, Cilia Flores, assured that thanks to the unity of Venezuelan women, they have been able to face the adversities that have arisen and overcome them.

This was expressed at the launch ceremony of the Great Movement of Women's Movements “Josefa Joaquina Sánchez”, led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

In this regard, she urged to deepen the unity of feminism in the face of “new victories and new challenges”.

He emphasized that precisely, the union of women has made it possible to achieve “many victories”, thus being a guarantee of “the new challenges that will be conquered” in the future.

“Women must, as we have been, continue to be united at this time around the Great Movement, this Great Mission because we have many challenges to meet in the future and we will achieve that together,” she said.

Flores pointed out that thanks to the determination of Venezuelan women, “we will continue to be an example, admired by the world for our dignity, strength, energy.”
