Cindy Anzola to lead Venezuela in the Women's Baseball World Cup

Strategist Cindy Anzola will lead Venezuela, in the Tainan Group of the WBSC 2026 Women's Baseball World Cup.
Anzola, a native of the state of Aragua, is a pioneer of women's baseball in Venezuela. In 2006, she contributed to the development of the C Women's Baseball Championship with Denisy Ramos (Carabobo), Nuris Castillo (Yaracuy) and Karen Durán (Miranda). She also stood out as Aragua's power hitter in the 2008 National Championship, according to the specialized press.
In 2010, Anzola joined the coaching staff of the Venezuelan National Team, working under manager Luis Martínez in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup, organized by Venezuela.
Later, he coached with Henry Campos in the 2012 World Cup, Juan Algarra in the 2014 World Cup and Carlos Torres in the 2015 Pan American Games.
