The National Cinemateca Foundation (FCN) extended the invitation to enjoy its programming in the month of March, which will include cycles dedicated to historical figures, women's cinema, Indian cinema, national premieres, classics of the seventh art, films of social condemnation and the best of 2024.

Here is the Cinemateca program:

  • Hugo Chávez: Twelve years after his departure: In commemoration of the anniversary of the death of President Hugo Chávez, two works will be screened that highlight his political legacy and his human side.
  • Women's Views: International Women's Day: A cycle that reflects on the importance of gender equality in cinema, highlighting the role of women in the industry.
  • Indian Film Festival: Screening of three outstanding titles at the Cinemateca MBA theater, on Friday, March 7th and Saturday, March 8th.
  • Premiere at national cinema: Space dedicated to emerging national productions, including the premiere of “The Cake” by Carlos Novella on March 27.
  • Classic cinema: essential movies: Relive masterpieces that marked the history of cinema.
  • Films against racism and exploitation: A cycle of reflection on racial discrimination, in commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
  • The best films of 2024. 2nd part: Second selection of outstanding international films of the year.
  • Saturday and Sunday for children: Animated feature films for children to enjoy, with stories that highlight important values.
