Schools, universities, community groups and the general public can now request guided tours of the exhibition “60 Years of Memory in Motion”, presented by the National Cinematheque as part of its sixtieth anniversary, in Room 7 of the Museum of Fine Arts, in Caracas.

The day has already begun its journey with the participation of students from the Colegio San José de Calasanz, who carried out a pedagogical experience on Venezuelan film heritage and the history of national cinema, guided by the team responsible for its preservation, according to the Ministry for Culture.

The program offers guided tours from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 in the morning and 12:00 noon, aimed at organized groups that wish to participate in this educational and cultural proposal .

The experience is structured in three seasons, which allow us to approach representative pieces such as the posters of “The Staircase” and “When I Want to Cry I Don't Cry”, as well as productions linked to figures such as Ali Primera, as part of the historical journey of national cinema.

Institutions interested in coordinating the visit should send a request by letter addressed to the Presidency of the National Cinematheque Foundation to the following emails: [email protected]/[email protected].

With this initiative, the National Cinemateca seeks to strengthen educational access to the country's audiovisual heritage and promote knowledge of Venezuelan cinema through a direct and interactive experience.
