Civil Protection deals with rainy situations in Trujillo

In the state of Trujillo, heavy rainfall this Friday afternoon - night caused landslides, tree falls and flooding in the municipalities of Pampán, Pampanito and Trujillo capital.

In view of this, Civil Protection officials responded to emergencies immediately by rolling trees and clearing the General Cruz Carrillo highway at the height of the Palo Negro sector, on the road in front of Villa Universitaria, as well as in the La Peñita and El Prado sectors of the Pampanito municipality.

Likewise, the Puente Blanco sector of the Pampán municipality was addressed in order to mitigate risks.

In the Trujillo municipality, specifically in the Tres Esquinas parish and in the Brisas del Río, Mirabelito and 9 de Octubre sectors, “the orange force carried out risk assessments with appropriate recommendations in the face of the rains,” PC reported on its social networks.
