CNE sets up 73 centers for the electoral simulation in Anzoátegui

The National Electoral Council (CNE) set up 73 voting centers in the state of Anzoátegui, distributed in 21 municipalities for the simulation on Saturday, May 10.

Namely, this exercise that will allow us to evaluate the operation of voting machines, verify the efficiency of the transmission media, check the totalization platform and analyze the technical and logistical operation of the electoral system .

The director of the Regional Electoral Office, Dichelys Guevara, reported that this exercise will allow citizens to become familiar with the automated voting process and allow for practical experience before the elections to choose the deputies of the National Assembly (AN), governorates and legislative councils on May 25.

He said that the municipalities of Bolívar and Sotillo have the largest number of centers, 8 in each, followed by Simón Rodríguez with 7 authorized schools.

The rest of the centers are distributed in the municipalities of Anaco (5), Aragua (2), Bruzual (4), Cajigal (2), Freites (2), Independencia (3), Libertad (3), Miranda (4), Monagas (3), Peñalver (3), Guanipa (3), Guanta (2), Píritu (3), Urbaneja (3), Carvajal, Santa Ana, McGregor and Capistrano (2 in each).
