CNT and CENAL extend call for 1st State Dramaturgy Competition

The National Theater Company (CNT) and the National Book Center (CENAL) extended the call for the 1st State Dramaturgy Competition until May 31, in order to encourage the creation of theatrical pieces in the 23 states of Venezuela and Caracas.
In the call addressed to Venezuelan and foreign authors resident in the country who have not been published in the genre of dramaturgy, they must submit a unique play that has not been recognized or exhibited before in the country and internationally.
The work must not have its copyright compromised with third parties or be participating in other contests. The central theme should explore Venezuelanity in two categories: local stories and contemporary social reality.
With regard to the presentation of plays, they must be written in Spanish, have a minimum length of 20 and a maximum of 30 pages on a letter-size sheet, and have the title signed with the pseudonym in the header of the text. The file format must be Word, with 12-point Arial font and 1.5 line spacing. This file must be sent via email to the following official contest address: [email protected]
