CNT presented its theatrical agenda for the coming months

The National Theater Company (CNT), an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, announced its schedule of activities for February, March, April and May, at its artistic headquarters, the Alberto de Paz y Mateos Theater, which includes workshops, training, reruns and premieres focused on continuing to promote Venezuelan theater and its protagonists.
Until February 22, the revival of the work Watercolor by Omar Churion will continue in the Román Chalbaud room of the aforementioned venue, with performances from Thursday to Saturday at 5 in the afternoon and on Sundays at 3 in the afternoon.
Then, from February 26 to March 8, the play As True as Nothing by Rodolfo Porras will enter the theater, at the same time from Thursday to Sunday. The play that revolves around two men who meet in line to buy food is played by Orlando Suarez and Horacio Méndez.
With Chabasquen Producciones, it's the turn of Elio Palencia's Pink Secuestro, directed by Rufino Dorta and featuring Yurahi Castro, Ariana León, Dora Farías, Yendy Vegas, Angélica Rinaldi, Jesús Plaza and Omar Churión. A play in the key of comedy framed in the 90s that deals with a kidnapping undertaken by four catalog sellers where everything goes wrong.
The other reinstatement that will take effect is Mr. Hamlet to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the physical departure of Achilles Nazoa its writer, from April 23 to May 3, at the Alberto Theater. The musical in the key of Sainete directed by Aníbal Grunn recounts the tragedy of William Shakespeare Hamlet in the best Caracas style, with the performance of the stable cast of the CNT.
On the other hand, Chabasquen Producciones is preparing, for a season between May 7 and 24, the play La Reina written and performed by Valentina Garrido, under the direction of Carlos Arroyo, who will talk about María Lionza, the central female deity of Venezuelan spiritism.
