Last Sunday, the delegation of the Government of Colombia, in the framework of the dialogue with the National Liberation Army (ELN), began an “extraordinary round” of talks at the request of the insurgent group to seek solutions to the crisis that broke out during the month of February.

The government representative indicated that the round will run until April 22, before the seventh cycle of peace talks, whose start, which was scheduled for the 8th of this month, was postponed.

The representative of Gustavo Petro's presidency indicated that the talks in Caracas began last Saturday and noted that the government delegation continued its work on Sunday.

Likewise, both parties spoke last Friday with representatives of the countries that guarantee and accompany the peace negotiations, the ELN press team said
