Last Monday, the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, suggested freezing the popular consultation initiative on labor reform and advancing its process through the Congress of the Republic, in order to promote political consultation after the attack on the senator and presidential candidate, Miguel Uribe Turbay.
The senator of the Historical Pact, Iván Cepeda, announced the messages of the Colombian president at the end of the National Commission for the Coordination and Monitoring of Electoral Processes.
