Colombia: Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay died

This Monday, the senator and presidential candidate, Miguel Uribe Turbay, died at 01:56 in the morning (local time) more than two months after his admission after being seriously injured in an attack he suffered on June 7, as reported by the Santa Fe Foundation of Bogotá.

In the early morning of Monday, the Mayor's Office of Bogotá issued a publication, on its official account of the social network X, in which it “deeply regretted the death of Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay”.

Uribe Turbay had been in critical condition since June 7 when he was the victim of an attack in Bogotá, where in a proselytizing act he was shot several times with a firearm by a teenager, who is in detention.
