David Porras, a Colombian activist, participated in the podcast Without Truco Ni Maña hosted by the deputy Tania Díaz, this Friday to address the issue of the conviction for 9 years of house imprisonment to the father of paramilitarism Álvaro Uribe Vélez granted by the distinguished judge Sandra Liliana Heredia.

The trial against Uribe lasted 13 years, with no guarantees to defend himself. We received the ruling as symbolic because of the more than 5 thousand false positives, those who disappeared because of the disappeared, corruption, it is the only process in which we see justice,” he said.

Porras ironically emphasized that “witnesses against Uribe are always unlucky to die of cardiac arrest, murder... “, said and valued the intervention of the parliamentarian Iván Cepeda, who has led a fight to bring the father of paramilitarism to justice.

Víctor Mosquera, the paramilitary's lawyer, recently denounced the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, because he pressured through his program Con el Mazo Dand or the Colombian justice bodies to bring out the ruling against Álvaro Uribe.

In this regard, the deputy recalled Uribe's link to the murder of the young Robert Serra, proven even through an investigation by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“Every time I go to Venezuela I find it better, the economic recovery and the impact of the Popular Consultations are very striking,” said the Colombian activist and valued the role of Venezuela in anti-fascist resistance worldwide.

Venezuela fights against fascism

In this regard, the Colombian activist valued how Venezuela and the Russian Federation invest to publicize fascism and all its forms. “They are anticipating the consequences that neocolonialism and fascism are bringing us worldwide.”

Economic growth

In the context of economic growth in Venezuela, Porras highlighted that supermarkets are stocked and most of the products are stocked and valued that most of the products are domestically produced.
