This Saturday, the General Commander of the Bolivarian National Militia (MNB), Major General Orlando Romero Bolívar, highlighted the admirable maturity of the Venezuelan people in the face of destabilization attempts.
Speaking to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he denounced that Venezuela has been the target of a protracted cognitive war, designed to sow fear and demoralization.
“They threaten us, they try to make us look like drug traffickers and thugs, but the people interpret, understand and overcome these aggressions with dignity. We are a respectful people who get up every day to work with pride,” he said.
In the face of attempts at aggression, he exalted the peaceful but firm character of the Venezuelan people. “We don't seek conflict, but we don't kneel in the face of threats either. We are a cohesive people, clear in what our territory and sovereignty represent.”
