Community Roof Plan will meet more than 1,462 requests in national deployment

From the state of Carabobo, the national deployment of the Community Roof Plan was launched, an initiative prioritized in the Popular Consultation that will respond to more than 1,462 requests made by communities across the country; this program seeks to improve housing conditions through the recovery and strengthening of structures, to guarantee effective solutions for the beneficiary families.

The Minister of the People's Power of Public Works, Juan José Ramírez, explained the scope of the plan and detailed the components of the strategy. “This Community Roof program is made up of three vertices, which we have defined as a combination of solutions. The replacement of zinc sheets, tubes and hooks is contemplated, in addition to the incorporation of adhesive cloths developed in conjunction with the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and PDVSA. Roof waterproofing will also be implemented, in order to meet the needs of each communal circuit selected in the Popular Consultation,” he said.

The deployment will begin in Caracas and will continue in the states of Zulia, Miranda, Monagas and Portuguesa, regions with a significant number of requests registered in the Popular Consultation. The execution of the plan will have specialized equipment and machinery, which will ensure optimal conditions for the development of the works.

This day is part of the Bolivarian Government's commitment to meeting the needs of communities through participatory projects, where it strengthens the community management model. The articulation between institutions and communities will allow the consolidation of sustainable housing solutions.
