Community spokespersons are trained for the development of the tourism sector in Aragua

The community spokespersons received five months of training in tourism.

Officials from the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism (MPPT) trained 80 community spokespersons from the state of Aragua, with the objective of continuing to promote the development of the tourism sector in the state.

During the recognition ceremony, the Minister for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, was present, who congratulated the community spokespersons and urged them to continue with these training and awareness-raising plans for tourism in the entity.

In addition, the governor of Aragua, Karina Carpio, reaffirmed the importance of continuing to promote tourism, since Venezuela has a great variety and capacity for this purpose.

For its part, the single tourism authority in the state of Aragua, Maritza Mendoza, indicated that during the training, community spokespersons were given tools to take advantage of tourism and boost their local economy.

“They are the ones who have been strengthening and training and then incorporating them into tourist routes that are productive and sustainable over time,” he said.

The community spokespersons had five months of training in tourism, in which topics such as user service, quality of service, among others, were addressed, a Venezuelan Television review.
